We have Gas Safe boiler service and maintenance engineers with full HWB1 registration.

Abbey World of Leisure provide at least 1 named operator contact, responsible for all operational services to your site.

Breakdown – Abbey World of Leisure have a team of fully experienced Service Engineers who will react to any call out issues within hours including most heating, electrical and gas situations to which all reach the requirements to Gas Safe, HWB1 and the latest 17th Edition I E T regulations.

We are able to attend to most De-Humidification, Heat Pump failures and are able to Service Automatic Safety Covers.

We offer a Full Valet Service with varied options, and tailored in most cases to your own pool or hot-tub project, that can be implemented to work with your own personal needs.

Options are offered below:

1) 1 visit per week All includes – pool or tub valeting.
2) 1 visit every fortnight Planned Plant room check
3) 1 visit per month Water Chemistry Management
4) 1 visit per year Heating / Dehumidification / Cover services

Summarisation (Opening up pool for the Summer) – Approximately around March time.
Winterisation (Closing the pool for the Winter) - Approximately around October time.

SUMMERISE SERVICE
• Clean off and remove winter debris cover, fold and store.
• Raise water level and remove floating ice breaks
• Vacuum and clean pool of debris
• Re Commission all filtration and heating plant
• Check electric and turn on.
• Refit and check multiport valve and all manifold pipework, valves and equipment such as salt chlorinators, dosers, multiCycloses etc.
• Backwash filter and leave plantroom running
• Check pool chemical levels and adjust accordingly. And add a long life Summerise algaecide.
• Vacuum and clean tileband, steps and skimmers
• Health check and report to be produced.

SERVICES
Services are generally carried out on a fortnightly basis on a Thursday or Friday to ensure that your pool/tub are in the best condition with safe balanced water ready for the weekend.
• Inspect the pool and plantroom for general wear and tear.
• Vacuum the pool to waste and top up water level if required,
• Backwash filters, clean out strainer baskets, Check and clean other equipment.
• Clean out skimmer baskets, check and refit. Check fittings.
• Check underwater lights.
• Check Chemical levels. Adjust pH and sanitiser if required
• Check heating
• Leave cover on the pool
• Complete the maintenance report book.

SERVICING
CALL – OUTS
Are team are available 7 days a week to take your call assist you with those pool and sub problems that crop up from time to time. We can generally react Monday to Friday within 24 hours, emergencies will take priority 7 days a week so that we can isolate the situation until a permanent solution can be resolved as often specialist parts and or equipment may be required.

WINTERISING SERVICE
The pool will need to be decommissioned for the cold winter months and made safe not only mechanically but also for safety.
• The pool would be cleaned and vacuumed and the level dropped below the skimmers if appropriate,
• The pool chemical levels should be pH and sanitiser should be checked and adjusted.
• Add a long life Winterizing Algaecide.
• Shock dose the pool with chlorine
• Remove all deck equipments (ladders etc)
• Remove baskets and clean skimmer weir and leave with a floating ice break.
• Put floating ice breaks into pool water.
• Fit winter debris cover and secure
• Store summer cover on roller and protect
• Drain down filtration and heating system.
• Isolate electric
• We then will do a health check of the pool and equipment and raise a report.
