This style of construction is often utilised within a building structure and is formed using either a reinforced concrete block wall, tied to a reinforced concrete floor slab which would form the floor profile and diving cage. Or a steel reinforcement design would be engineered to form a monobloc caged wall and floor, which would then be professionally sprayed with a concrete gunite membrane, often in a free-form shape complete with steps and spa.
The walls and floor would be rendered and screeded with a waterproof cement and 2 coat finish, ready to receive ceramic or porcelain mosaic tiles. They are available in many colours and designs, with personal motifs or features available.
The coping surrounds can have colour co-ordinated fingergrip edgings or limestone feature edge tiles.
The finish and features such as level deck, overflow and infinity edges are often used to enhance the ambience. These pools are the most expensive in our range and are generally completely bespoke to a customers own design and choices.
